12 Month Guarantee

Every PJV Watch is covered by a 12-month guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. If your watch develops a fault due to manufacturing or assembly during this period, we will repair or replace the defective parts free of charge, including labour.

The guarantee does not cover:

  • Accidental damage or misuse

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, worn straps, faded coatings)

  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Water Damage as outlined below

  • Battery replacement (for quartz models, if appli

PJV Watches — Water Resistance & Warranty

Water Resistance

Where a PJV watch is stated as having a water-resistance rating greater than 5 ATM, that watch has been independently pressure tested and certified to the stated level of water resistance.

Provided the watch is used within the limits of its stated water-resistance rating, the 12-month PJV warranty covers defects in the case, seals or other components that result in a failure of the certified water resistance.

Watches that do not carry an independently certified water-resistance rating greater than 5 ATM are not sold as suitable for submersion in water. This includes swimming, bathing and showering. The warranty therefore does not cover water ingress or water damage resulting from submersion of these watches.

Water resistance is dependent upon the watch being used correctly. The crown must be fully closed or screwed down, where applicable, before exposure to water. The warranty does not cover water ingress caused by misuse, an unsecured crown, accidental damage, impact, unauthorised opening or repair, or use beyond the watch's stated water-resistance rating.

Water resistance is not a permanent condition. Seals and gaskets can deteriorate through age and use. We recommend periodic pressure testing if a watch is regularly used in water.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.
